Why is the Three-Person Tent not available to purchase with R1T?

Deliveries of the Yakima Three-Person Tent package for R1T customers are temporarily on hold until the brake light accessory becomes available. The brake light accessory helps ensure proper brake light visibility when driving with the tent attached to the bed and is required for tent purchases with the R1T. We expect the brake light accessory will be available in 2023.

In the meantime, the Cargo Crossbars will remain on your order.

Will I be able to include the Three-Person Tent in my vehicle financing?
If you’ve already taken delivery of your Rivian, you’ll be able to purchase the R1T Three-Person Tent + Cargo Crossbars + Brake Light Accessory through Gear Shop when it becomes available in 2023. Gear Shop purchases cannot be added to vehicle financing.

If you haven’t yet taken delivery and can still edit your configuration, you’ll have the opportunity to add this tent package through configurator once available.

Will you honor the pricing of the Three-Person Tent from my original order?
Yes. If you choose to purchase the R1T Three-Person Tent once it becomes available again, we’ll honor the pricing you saw when adding it to your order initially, even if purchasing through the Gear Shop.
