Does Rivian offer Insurance in Canada?
Rivian works together with Western¹ in British Columbia to offer a streamlined process for your vehicle’s insurance and delivery. These ICBC² Autoplan brokers can assist you with your vehicle registration and auto insurance. If you’d like to use Western’s services, simply follow the instructions in the digital purchase process. Afterwards, a representative from Western will contact you and explain the mandatory ICBC as well as the optional insurance coverages. Insurance is required prior to the delivery of your vehicle. In addition, Western offers an insurance program specifically built for Rivian customers. If you’d like to use Western’s services, you can choose to get a quote within the insurance section of Rivian's digital purchase process.
For residents in other provinces, please work with your own broker, collect the necessary paperwork, pass it onto the broker and coordinate on the delivery date, time and location.
