How does Rivian support vehicle titling and registration?

Where possible, Rivian handles the DMV title and registration process on behalf of our owners as part of our digital purchasing experience at Rivian.

Owners will decide who they plan to register the vehicle to — themselves, a business, or someone else — and the registration address, which will determine taxes and fees due on top of the vehicle price.

For all registrants, we will collect a picture of the front and back of their driver's license for identity verification and to complete the registration process with the DMV.
