What is Rivian Care?
Rivian Care¹ is an optional vehicle protection program powered by Assurant®, created to help keep your Rivian protected beyond your manufacturer’s warranty. It helps keep your Rivian protected beyond your vehicle’s warranty.²
Where is Rivian Care offered?
Rivian Care is available in Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, Oregon and Texas.
How much does it cost?
You’ll receive a quote after applying. Coverage costs less when you purchase it while your warranty is still active.
What type of coverage is available?
Rivian Care has two choices of coverage. You can pick one or both:
Vehicle Service Contract
Helps cover the cost to repair or replace the high-voltage battery, drivetrain, mechanical components, safety systems and more after a covered breakdown once your Rivian’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty ends.² Coverage also includes select wear and tear items from the start of your plan.³
Preferred Vehicle Protection
For repairs like covered windshield damage, tire and wheel damage and paintless dent repair.³
How do I get it?
If you are preparing to take delivery of a new vehicle, you will be able to add Rivian Care during the purchasing flow.
If you’ve already taken delivery, you can log into your Rivian account and fill in the interest form in the Rivian Care section. If your vehicle is eligible, we will reach out.
What if Rivian Care isn’t offered where I live?
We will be rolling out Rivian Care across the country in the future. If you want Rivian to reach out once Rivian Care is available to you, please log into your Rivian account and fill in the interest form in the Rivian Care section.
