How does purchase and delivery work?

We’re focused on creating a seamless and convenient experience that guides you from configuration to the first time you drive your vehicle — including service center pickups and home deliveries where available.

Your Rivian Guide will be in touch to help you prepare for delivery based on your configuration, location and when you placed your preorder or reservation. At that time, you can complete any remaining steps to take delivery from your Rivian Account, including finalizing your payment method and applying for financing, trading in your current vehicle and completing any remaining documents.

On delivery day you can track your vehicle’s journey through the Rivian app and upon arrival set it up as a digital key so you can immediately get on the road. To get better acquainted with your vehicle, you can ask a Rivian Field Specialist for a walkthrough or explore on your own time.

How does service work?

Rivian provides convenient and comprehensive service coverage. Whether you need maintenance or repairs, we’ve got you covered in all markets where Rivian vehicles are sold.

Service can be scheduled through the Rivian app and directly with our Service Support team. We are building out a network of mobile service vehicles that will come to you when service is needed, and also have service centers when more extensive vehicle service is required.

And for unplanned service needs, our Rivian Service and Roadside Assistance teams are always here to support.

Our New Vehicle Limited Warranty is included on all new R1S and R1T vehicles purchased from Rivian.

Can I get a demo drive?

We currently offer multiple ways for our preorder and reservation holders to experience our vehicles in person — including demo drives at one of our hubs or service centers, or we will bring a vehicle to you for a drive.
