Who has access to my vehicle data?

We have implemented various controls and processes to limit who has access to vehicle data. Certain vehicle data is shared with our service providers to enable key vehicle functionality, such as navigation and cellular connectivity. Within Rivian, data access is granted on an as-needed basis. For example, Rivian engineers access vehicle data to help diagnose and resolve issues noted by our customers, including those escalated from our service teams. Rivian legal team members can access data to help investigate collisions or process privacy rights requests and vehicle data requests. Certain Rivian teams may also conduct analytics across the Rivian fleet to identify product improvement opportunities. Rivian may be required to share your identifiable vehicle data by law enforcement or valid legal document (e.g., subpoena).
