New Vehicle Limited Warranty is included on all new R1S and R1T vehicles purchased from Rivian.
New Vehicle Limited Warranties include:
Comprehensive: The cost of all parts and labor necessary for any defective materials are covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first
Battery Pack: Coverage includes all components inside the high-voltage battery and 70% or more of the battery capacity for 8 years or 175,000 miles, whichever comes first
Drivetrain: Coverage includes the drivetrain and components for 8 years or 175,000 miles, whichever comes first
Corrosion (Perforation): Body panels that are perforated by corrosion will be covered for 8 years with unlimited miles

For the quickest and most convenient way to charge at home, we recommend using the Rivian Wall Charger — capable of providing up to 25 miles of range per hour at a 11.5 kW charging speed. The Wall Charger is weatherproof for indoor or outdoor use, has WiFi connectivity for OTA updates and is covered by a 5-year warranty.
Rivian vehicles also come standard with our Portable Charger which can be easily stowed in your garage or front trunk. The Portable Charger is capable of providing up to 16 miles of range per hour with a 240-volt outlet — and can be used with standard 120-volt outlets for a slower charge.
Rivian will provide convenient and comprehensive service coverage. Whether you need maintenance or repairs we’ve got you covered in all markets where Rivian vehicles are sold.
Service can be scheduled from the Rivian app and with our Customer Service team. We are building out a network of mobile service vehicles that will come to you when service is needed. For vehicles that need to visit a physical Service Center, we will pick up your vehicle and bring it in to one of our service locations.
Beyond the service visits you can plan for, you’ll have access to our Customer Service and Roadside Assistance teams for nearly every question, curiosity and help that your journey may need.
You can charge your Rivian vehicle on the road, at home or just about anywhere there’s an outlet.
We’re building our Rivian Adventure Network which will available exclusively to Rivian owners and is a comprehensive nationwide network of fast-charging stations — capable of adding up to 140 miles of range in 20 minutes.
Rivian Waypoint chargers will be located near shopping centers, restaurants, hotels, parks and other popular destinations. These charging sites will be open to the public and have a J1772 plug, making them compatible with other electric vehicles.
We are also integrating with other nationwide CCS networks to ensure charging is always easily accessible, where ever you go.

Rivian vehicles come standard with our Portable Charger that plugs into higher-powered 240-volt outlets as well as standard 120-volt outlets — capable of charging up to 16 miles of range per hour.
You’ll be able to find Rivian charging locations and other CCS sites directly from your in-vehicle touchscreen. Simply choose your destination and the navigation will automatically route you through any needed charging stops.
In the United States, you may be eligible for a federal tax credit up to $7,500 the year you take delivery of your vehicle. Pricing does not include potential savings from federal, state and local incentives you may be eligible for.
