Can I purchase the Performance Upgrade after delivery?

Starting 60 days after delivery, owners of Dual Standard+, Dual Large and Dual Max vehicles may add the Performance Upgrade through a software upgrade.

This upgrade unlocks extra power, faster acceleration and three drive modes (Rally, Sport and Soft Sand). To get started, visit the Upgrades section of your Rivian account or the Rivian app.

Note: Your vehicle must be updated to software version 2025.06 or later to download the Performance Upgrade.
