Can I pay for my vehicle at delivery?
If your Rivian delivery site does not hold a dealer license, payment has to be completed and confirmed before your appointment, not brought with you on the day.
Licensed vs. unlicensed delivery sites
Ask your Delivery Guide whether your delivery site holds a dealer license before assuming you can pay at pickup. Delivery-day payment is only possible at licensed sites, and Rivian's general preference is to collect payment ahead of time even there.
Unlicensed sites
At an unlicensed delivery site, no in-person payment is accepted on delivery day. If you're paying by certified or cashier's check, it has to be mailed in and received, with tracking confirmation showing delivery, by end of business the day before your appointment. Bringing the check with you to an unlicensed site will not work and may delay your delivery.
Licensed delivery locations
At a licensed delivery location, you may be able to bring a certified or cashier’s check to your appointment. Confirm your payment arrangements with your Delivery Guide before delivery day.
