How do I get a Rivian-approved CCS1 DC adapter?

Starting with model year 2026, Rivian vehicles are built with a NACS charging port and require a CCS1 DC adapter to charge at certain DC fast charging stations that have a CCS1 connector type.

Dual and Tri configurations
Add the adapter to your vehicle order during checkout, purchase from Gear Shop or pick one up from select Service Centers.

Quad configurations
2026 R1 Quad configurations (including Launch Edition) will include a CCS1 DC adapter at no additional cost.
