What is NACS?
The North American Charging System (NACS), standardized as J3400, is the charging standard for EVs across North America.
Starting with model year 2026, all Rivian vehicles will be built with a native NACS charge port. To access CCS1 or J1772 chargers, use the appropriate Rivian-approved adapter.
