What is the maintenance schedule for R1 vehicles?
Rivian recommends the following maintenance be performed on time for all R1 vehicles.

Maintenance Intervals
Tire Rotation and Multi-Point Inspection: every 7,500 mi (12,000 km)
Brake Fluid Flush: every 3 years
Coolant Change: every 112,500 mi (180,000 km)
Drive Unit Fluid Change (Model Year 2022-2024 Quad-Motor AWD vehicles only): every 112,500 mi (180,000 km)
Services Information
Tire Rotation
Rotation of all 4 wheels and tires (rearward cross pattern). Inclusion of full-size spare wheel and tire (if equipped) can be performed at an additional cost but is not recommended. This interval applies to all wheel and tire sizes offered by Rivian.

Multi-Point Inspection
Examines interior and exterior of the vehicle to ensure normal and safe operation and replaces parts if necessary. Covers the following and more:
Tire pressures and tread depth including spare (if equipped)
Brake pad and rotor thickness
Suspension wear and fastener torques including lug nuts
Vehicle windows for chips and cracks
Vehicle functions check
Windshield washer, brake fluid, and coolant level check
Windshield washer jets and wiper blades
Brake Fluid Flush
Replaces the hydraulic brake fluid in the vehicle braking system. Includes bleed procedure on all 4 calipers.
Coolant Change
Drains and refills coolant using a vacuum procedure.
Drive Unit Fluid Change
Drains and refills Model Year 2022-2024 Quad-Motor AWD drive units fluid. This procedure is unnecessary for all Dual-Motor AWD and Model Year 2025+ vehicles as an integrated filter is monitored by the vehicle.
