What is two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication is a security measure requiring two methods of identity verification when logging in - your Rivian account password plus a one-time password. This adds another layer of protection over your personal information and vehicle access, and is available to all Rivian customer accounts.
Use of two-factor authentication is required during the login process to your Rivian account and Rivian app. You may choose your preferred method of authentication – email, SMS or third-party authenticator app.

Manage your two-factor authentication settings from your Account page or in the Rivian app (Profile > Manage account > Security > Two-factor authentication).
