Manufacturing
Normal, Illinois
Normal is home to our first manufacturing facility where we’re building our consumer and commercial electric vehicles and a unique collaborative culture.
Stanton Springs, Georgia
Currently under construction, our manufacturing facility in Georgia is projected to come online in 2028. This is where we’ll scale R2 production.
North American offices
Atlanta, Georgia
Just an hour from our new manufacturing campus, our East Coast headquarters is home to teams focused on finance, admin, customer service and facilities.
Irvine, California
Our facilities in Irvine are home to a wide range of teams, including vehicle engineering and design, supply chain and logistics, IT and software design.
Los Angeles, California
Our facilities in Los Angeles are focused on developing our family of electric motors and inverters and our consumer and fleet charging products.
Palo Alto, California
This is where we develop much of our software stack and vehicle electronics, including our core software platforms, vehicle controls, cloud connectivity and autonomy.
Plymouth, Michigan
This development, prototyping and testing facility is focused on engineering, procurement and supply chains, validation and service support operations.
Wittmann, Arizona
The extreme terrain and climate make this the perfect place to test our vehicle’s driving dynamics, durability, thermal performance and efficiency.
Vancouver, Canada
Our Vancouver location is home to our vehicle management software teams, developing apps and digital products for both consumer and fleet vehicles.

Amsterdam, Netherlands
At our European headquarters, teams work on strategy and planning for the region and support initiatives for Rivian spaces and service locations.

Teams at our research and development centre in Belgrade are focused on helping to develop our vehicle software and enterprise technologies.
