How do I insure my Rivian vehicle in British Columbia, Canada?
For your convenience, Rivian is working with Western Financial Group and Western Coast Insurance Services.¹ These ICBC² Autoplan brokers can assist you with your vehicle registration and auto insurance.
If you’d like to use Western’s services, simply follow the instructions in the digital purchase process. Afterwards, a representative from Western will contact you and explain the mandatory ICBC as well as the optional insurance coverages. You can expect a phone call from Western before your vehicle delivery date. You may also connect with Western directly at 1-888-883-4485 and have your Rivian order number and Rivian VIN available.
Can I use a broker of my choice?
Yes. If you’d like to work with another broker, you’ll need to collect the necessary paperwork, pass it onto the broker and coordinate on the delivery date, time and location. If you choose another licensed broker, it will not affect your transaction with Rivian.
If you decide to choose another ICBC Autoplan broker, please inform your delivery team in advance of your scheduled delivery appointment.
