How do I remove vehicle ownership from the Rivian App?
When you are no longer the owner of a Rivian, you may remove the vehicle from your account using the Rivian app. This will erase all driver profiles and phone keys, and cancel any subscriptions associated with the vehicle.
Only the primary owner of a vehicle may remove ownership. Once a vehicle is removed from your account you won't be able to add it back using the Rivian app.
Remove a vehicle from your Rivian account
Start from the vehicle controls page of the Rivian app
Open the menu using the icon in the upper-left corner
Tap Manage account, then choose Remove vehicle
Confirm the correct vehicle listed should be removed
Enter your Rivian account password, then verify your identity through two-factor authentication
Confirm removal of the vehicle
