What COVID-19 safety precautions is Rivian taking?
Mask usage is optional for guests on a demo drive.
Our Rivian Specialist, who will be in the vehicle to guide you through your drive experience, will be wearing a mask. Our drives will be held with a partially open window configuration, based on studies that Rivian's Environmental, Health & Safety team performed to develop a comfortable and effective setting that increases cabin air exchange while driving.
Appointment times and other space considerations have been made in order to ensure appropriate social distancing. Our staff will be cleaning all vehicles in between drives, high traffic areas & surfaces, as well as touch points in accordance with CDC best practices. Please be sure to follow staff instructions and other messages while attending the event.
Rivian employees will be sanitizing all common touch points and surfaces that have been in contact with a customer.
If you or anyone in your party has tested positive for coronavirus in the past 14 days or are currently experiencing or have experienced within the last 24 hours any of the following symptoms, or have been contacted by a public official and determined to be in close contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus, then we ask that you refrain from attending the event at this time.
Symptoms include:
Fever or Chills
Fatigue or tiredness; muscle or body aches and pains
Nasal Congestion or runny nose
Dry cough
Sore throat
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Nausea, Vomiting, or Diarrhea
New loss of taste or smell
New, unusual, or long-lasting headache
