Below are the General Terms and Conditions of Purchase for Rivian Automotive, LLC (“Rivian”) which apply to purchase orders as specified below. Alternative terms or agreements apply only when formally recognized by Rivian in writing. If there is any question as to which set of General Terms and Conditions apply to your purchase order, please contact your Rivian representative for clarification.
Purchases of component parts incorporated into vehicles or products and related engineering and development services shall be subject to Rivian’s terms as follows:
General Terms and Conditions of Production Purchase effective January 1, 2026.
General Terms and Conditons of Production Purchase effective prior to January 1, 2026.
Purchases of machinery and equipment by Rivian shall be subject to Rivian’s General Terms and Conditions of Equipment Purchase.
All other purchases shall be subject to Rivian’s General Terms and Conditions of Purchase of Indirect Goods and Services.
Purchases of construction labor or materials by Rivian shall be subject to Rivian's General Terms and Conditions of Construction Purchase Order.
In addition to the applicable terms above, purchases of goods, software, firmware and/or services that involve handling confidential and/or proprietary information on behalf of Rivian shall be subject to Rivian’s Third Party Data Protection Requirements.
All work performed at a Rivian facility will be subject to Rivian's Contractor Safety Handbook.
