Introducing the Rivian x iKamper Skycamp 4.0 DLX

ProductR1R2
Camp Higher

Rivian and iKamper have announced the next generation of rooftop tents for the Rivian lineup, the Skycamp 4.0 DLX. They are available in two sizes: the Duo for R1T and the new Trio for R1S and R2.

Both Duo and Trio tents are built on iKamper's redesigned Skycamp 4.0 platform, which means a more open, more livable interior without growing the tent's footprint on your roof. More headroom, bigger doors and windows, a larger skylight — the kind of thing you might overlook on a spec sheet but will absolutely notice sitting up at 6am or climbing in after sundown.

Built for weather that doesn’t care about your plans

The Skycamp 4.0 DLX uses iKamper's BreathWeave™ high-density polycotton canvas, engineered to hold up against rain while still breathing enough to keep condensation from turning your tent into a terrarium overnight. Underneath, the Cork ThermaSeal™ floor system — new to the Rivian edition — pairs a honeycomb aluminum base with an insulating cork layer, so the cold coming up through the floor isn't the thing that wakes you up at 3am.

Two other new features for iKamper solve real problems:

HC Staircase — steps built directly into the ladder itself, not a separate accessory. It's great when you need to climb down in the dark.

Electrical junction box — routes power from a compatible 12-volt source (vehicle or portable power station) straight to the tent's lighting and USB-A, USB-C, and 12-volt outlets. No dangling battery packs, no separate cable running to a lantern.

The lighting itself is independently dimmable, inside and out, with white, amber, and red options that are practical for reading or for just hitting the right vibe as daylight fades.
