This past weekend, we officially kicked off the R2 Block Party at our Venice space. Our cross-country tour brings R2 directly to local communities, featuring live music, delicious bites and a chance to experience our brand and products up close. It’s a unique opportunity to explore R2 and get your questions answered before customer deliveries begin later this spring.
The Venice community turned out in full force for our first stop, which included R2 walkarounds with members of Rivian's Exterior Design team, a rare chance to hear from the people who designed the vehicle and learn about the features that define it. In between sessions, guests also had the chance to explore R2 vehicles in available colorways at their own pace.
In addition to R2, Rivian's in-house Culinary Team hosted an interactive cooking demonstration, showcasing the versatility of outdoor cooking and immersive lifestyle R2 enables by preparing charred peas with mint pesto and ricotta toast from locally sourced ingredients. On Saturday evening, The Wild Honey Pie hosted an intimate concert with STRFKR and cellist yeemz, while guests enjoyed Prince St. pizza.
