Rivian has partnered with higher learning institutions across the country to develop technical trade programs for the next generation of EV technicians. As automotive technology becomes more sophisticated and tech-oriented, Rivian is preparing students with the skills and hands-on experience to grow their careers within Field Service at Rivian and beyond.
We are excited to announce the first graduating class from Long Beach Community College. With the completion of this hands-on intensive Electric Vehicle Trade Program, each of these students will soon embark on their next adventure as full-time Field Service Technicians with Rivian in various locations, including El Segundo, Costa Mesa, South San Francisco, and Bellevue.
During the five-month program, technicians-in-training learn the latest electric vehicle technologies inside the classroom and put those theories into practice with hands-on training in school as well as at a local Service Center.
