As part of our commitment to preserving and protecting the natural world for future generations, Rivian continues to support a new Public Lands Rule now under consideration by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Along with over 100 other companies, we signed a letter submitted by The Conservation Alliance to BLM, the Biden Administration and members of Congress.
The proposed rule would put conservation and recreation on an equal footing with other uses, such as grazing and development. This would protect multiple uses while promoting the protection and restoration of public lands for future generations. It also complements another proposed rule to better enable renewable energy development on BLM land, which Rivian supports as well.
