Every shade in our palette is the result of hundreds of meticulous revisions — a process we relentlessly refined until each hue possessed its own distinct identity. With R2, we are expanding this visual spectrum to celebrate the vehicle’s versatility, introducing three brand-new exterior shades that seamlessly join our established lineup.

Alongside R2, we expanded our palette with three new deeply dimensional paint finishes inspired by the textures and tones of the outdoors.
Catalina Cove Exclusive to R2, like the waters that surround Catalina Island, this metallic paint shifts from deep Pacific blues to translucent greens in the light.
Esker Silver Inspired by the winding ridges of gravel and sand that glaciers leave behind, fine metallic flakes bring depth to this shimmering silver.
Half Moon Grey This metallic grey is inspired by the coastal cliffs of Half Moon Bay — layers of granite and sandstone shifting in warm light.

This raw, mechanical green holds a unique tension between engineering and nature, shifting elegantly from deep forest tones to a technical gray. Midnight Deep black tones with a hint of blue metallic for depth. Think of being outside on a clear night and gazing up at the stars.
Glacier White Pure and crisp with a hint of warmth, this is the only color in our lineup that does not have any metallic effect. It shows the vehicle’s graphic outline while emphasizing signature Rivian design elements.
Forest Green (Coming to R2 in August) Dark green with a high metallic content that produces both strong, bright highlights as well as dark shadows, changing with the vehicle’s contours.
Borealis (Coming to R2 in September) This dynamic, light-shifting purple inspired by the Aurora Borealis captures the dynamic, celestial effects of one of nature's most impressive displays.
