R2 is here and demo drives are available at Rivian spaces across the US. It’s the perfect time to get behind the wheel and experience R2 for yourself.
From the very beginning, R2 was designed to be your companion for everything — from the daily commute to the dirt roads that lead to your favorite trailhead. Now that you’ve explored the specs and envisioned where it could take you, nothing compares to the feeling of sitting in the driver’s seat.
Your Path to the Driver’s Seat
To make sure the process is as smooth as possible, booking access is organized by priority, starting with those who have been invited to order their vehicle first. To unlock your priority booking window, you must be logged into the Rivian Account associated with your reservation before scheduling.
If you've received your invitation to order an R2, you can book immediately. Your invite-to-order email includes a direct link, and inside your Rivian Account you'll see the appointment calendar.
If you have a reservation but haven't received your official invitation to order yet, logging in and booking through your Rivian Account unlocks early access to the calendar.
Additionally, a limited number of slots are available daily to the general public through Rivian's demo drive booking tool.
Appointments are added regularly and move fast. Check in daily to find and secure your spot.
What You’ll Experience
During your drive, you’ll experience the instantaneous, grin-inducing torque and that unmistakable, planted Rivian ride quality. But just as importantly, you'll experience the intentionality of the interior, from the premium, durable materials to the expansive view of the world around you.
Your demo drive is also the perfect opportunity to experience Autonomy+, with features like Universal Hands-Free and Lane Change on Command.* Access to all Autonomy+ features is included with the limited-run Launch Package.**
Before You Arrive
Your appointment is 30 minutes, with 15 minutes of driving time. Drivers must be a minimum of 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Up to 4 guests are invited to join you in R2. Kids are welcome, but any guest under the age of 8 must be secured in a car seat brought and installed by the guest who is driving the vehicle. Please consult local car seat laws and regulations. We love our furry friends, but no pets are allowed on demo drives.
