Order invitations are going out in rolling waves. Your Rivian Account shows your estimated order invite window, so you know where you stand. If your invite arrives before you're ready? No pressure. Your place in line is saved and you can order whenever the moment is right.
Once you confirm your build, things move quickly—most customers take delivery within 4 to 8 weeks.
Want to Be First? Choose Launch Package
Deliveries began with the limited edition R2 Performance with Launch Package. If you'd like an earlier delivery and Autonomy+ included,¹ make sure you've indicated interest in Launch Package in your Rivian Account.
Launch Package guarantees more than an early delivery. Launch Package brings R2 Performance to its peak with Autonomy+ included for the lifetime of the vehicle,¹ tow package with 4,400 lbs of towing capacity,² a limited-edition Rivian Green anodized key fob and exclusive access to Launch Green—the iconic color that started it all.³
We are excited to introduce new interior and exterior options on Launch Package very soon. Coastal Cloud Signature interior and our Forest Green paint option will be available on R2 later in August.⁴ A customer favorite, Borealis, will be available on R2 in September 2026.
